LEAH RENAUD

Director

Inspired by her own story to make this film, Leah is determined to make I Want You to Live a place for everyone to learn. She hopes to create a space that is full of love and understanding, while exploring the world of film. I Want You to Live is something she has been wanting to make for a very long time and hopes to do it justice. When she isn't watching Back to the Future, you can find Leah eating banana bread with her dog Viola.

ALEXX BRYANT

Producer

While her previous documentary work focused on immigration and animal welfare, Alexx is very excited to explore the stigmatization of suicide in I Want You to Live, an issue she deeply connects with. When she is not worrying about school or work, you can find her binge-watching teen dramas with her cat Beau-Tie.

DANIEL MASON

Director of Photography

Daniel's prior work has been cinematography and lighting in short films, event videography, and documentaries. He is ready to dive deep into the stigma surrounding suicide in I Want You to Live. He is passionate about this documentary and wants to provide insight on these issues, while making it look great on camera. When he’s not working, he can be found in the gym, or playing with his dog Moose.

SHANE EHRLICK

Technical Lead

Shane thinks the conversations around mental health are flawed on a foundational level and would like to see if he can help change that through I Want You to Live. Although a city boy, Shane prefers the tranquility of the country, usually taking walks and doing creative projects. In his spare time, he makes music and sleeps, a lot.

RACHEL BETTENCOURT

Marketing Lead

Rachel hopes this project, I Want You to Live, is the start of the much needed change in conversations surrounding mental health. She believes mental health awareness should not be limited to just one day or one month but should be a year-round conversation. When she’s not bullet journaling or drinking chai tea lattes, you can be sure to catch Rachel napping or re-reading one of the Harry Potter books.

SIMONE GAVROS

Research Lead

Simone wants to be a part of this amazing documentary to help ignite the discussion around suicide in an accurate, responsible, and informative way. She wants this documentary to not only open society’s eyes, but help her gain the knowledge and confidence to start these conversations with her loved ones. When she's not working or sleeping, you can find her baking, Greek dancing, or snuggling with her dog, Lexi.
